Currys Ireland: what to know before you use a code
A discount code is only part of what you pay at Currys. Delivery, installation and the returns rules can change the real cost, especially on large appliances. Here is how they work for shoppers in Ireland.
Policy details checked on . This date doesn't cover the individual codes above. Always confirm the final price at checkout.
Currys delivery and collection costs
| Option | Timing | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Small items, including TVs up to 43" | 3-5 working days | €6.99 |
| Large items, including major appliances and TVs over 43" | 5-7 working days | €39.99 |
| Range cookers and American-style fridge freezers | 5-7 working days | €49.99 |
| Reserve and collect in store, where available | Usually about 1 hour | Free |
- There are no customs charges or import fees, because Currys Ireland is an Irish-registered company.
- Currys does not currently deliver to Parcel Motel or similar pick-up services.
- For large items, Currys sends a text two days before delivery with a 4-hour window.

Work out what a code really saves
Compare the code against free collection before you check out. A €10 code on a delivered small item saves you only €3.01 compared with paying full price and collecting it, once the €6.99 delivery charge is counted.
The same applies to large items. A €50 code with €39.99 delivery leaves a real saving of €10.01 compared with collecting, if store collection is available for that product.
Installation and removing your old appliance
- Installation is available across most of the Republic of Ireland, but only when you also pay for delivery.
- Installing a washing machine or washer dryer costs €55, or €95 for an integrated model.
- Currys' full laundry installation includes disconnecting, removing and recycling your old appliance.
- You can recycle old tech and household batteries for free in Currys stores.

Currys returns and refunds
- Online orders can be returned within 30 days, even if opened for inspection. The item must be as new and, where possible, in its original packaging.
- Store purchases can be returned within 30 days if unopened and sealed, with proof of purchase. Connected products with airtime, such as a phone or SIM contract, are excluded.
- Faulty products can be exchanged or refunded within 30 days of purchase or delivery.
- Stores can't process returns of 'Online Only' large kitchen appliances.
- Refunds can take up to 14 days to process, and Currys says it refunds delivery charges in most instances.
